A 15 year vet in radio,Trevin , a Norfolk state graduate and member of the Alpha phi Alpha fraternity, incorporated, started his career at WNSB- FM at Norfolk state university. Following graduation, Jones worked as an announcer for WTJZ in Hampton, VA. He then returned to his hometown of Lancaster, PA to work as a Board op and weekend announcer for WLAN-FM. Trevin then moved to New York city and worked as assistant studio director for Bad Boy entertainment, while working as an intern for WBLS-FM.

The internship at WBLS Allowed Jones to become a producer for the Doug Banks morning Show as well as Wendy Williams show in the afternoon. In 2003 Trevin moved to Pittsburgh and Became a Producer for the Sheridan Broadcasting network working on Various Shows such as USA Music Magazine ( top 20 countdown Show) . In 2007 Trevin became a sports anchor with SBN Sports as well as Co-host and Producer on SBNS' Black College Football Weekly.








Ron Gerrard has been involved in broadcasting for over twenty five years. In that span he has covered MLB’s World Series and All Star Games. While at SBN Sports he produced the syndicated radio broadcast, “The Major League Baseball Notebook” with former major league player Gary “Sarge” Matthews which ran for five seasons. In addition to his baseball coverage Mr. Gerrard (“The G-Man”) has covered well over two hundred world championship boxing cards in the U.S, Mexico, Canada, and South America. He hosted a radio broadcast, Straight Jab, with noted trainer Kenny Adams in Las Vegas and operated a boxing website. Ron served as a sports anchor/reporter for the American Urban Radio Networks for over 15 years.

The well traveled “G-Man” has covered the PGA’s John Deere Classic, Bell South Classic and Las Vegas Invitational Golf Tournaments for the past ten years. He has previously written for The NHL’s Goal Magazine, Baseball Digest, and The New Pittsburgh Courier.

The “G-Man” has produced several broadcasts on local Las Vegas television. Ron also covered the Super bowl for SBN Sports and has reported on mixed martial arts (UFC) for the past three years and currently co-hosts the weekly radio broadcast, “Golf Nuts”.

The veteran broadcaster has also contributed reports for ESPN Radio, The Sporting News Network, Voice of America, The Canadian and Australian Broadcasting Company’s, as well as New Zealand and French (Cannel Plus) Television. He resides in Henderson, Nevada with his wife Margie and Alpha dog Jude Jones. He also considers Ty Miller his best friend.



Eddie Jefferies, a product of Lincoln (Pa.) University, is a freelance writer from Pittsburgh, Pa. As the former sports editor for the New Pittsburgh Courier for 18 years, he served as a sports talk show host/broadcaster for Sheridan Broadcasting for more than two decades. He also served as the color commentator for the Pittsburgh Piranhas of the now-defunct Continental Basketball Association. Additionally, he possesses one of the largest collections of audio-taped sports interviews extant, which should be available for public consumption in the very near future, and is considered one of the nation’s foremost boxing and basketball historians.



Roscoe Nance has covered Black College football for more than three decades. He most recently was a reporter for USA Today.
