A: Sun fade (sun spots) is a naturally occurring phenomenon that happens
twice a year (spring & fall). Sun fade (sun spots) will cause a loss
of satellite signal for a short time (3-5 min) due to the alignment of the
sun and the receiving antenna (dish).
