Bettie Lee

Bettie Lee is a twenty-year broadcast journalism veteran. She has worked as an anchor and reporter interviewing newsmakers from all walks of life.

A particularly momentous interview happened in September 1992 when she spoke to Dr. Mae Jemison while Dr. Jemison was making history aboard the space shuttle Endeavour. Ms. Lee also covers major political events.

Ms. Lee has also hosted a variety of programs including American Urban Radio Networks’ “Money Smarts” and “Surfin’ The Net” and contributes to “Black College Football Weekly.”

Currently she is also AURN's Senior Producer.

A Pittsburgh native, she is a graduate of Chatham College and The Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
