Black Construction Workers Demand Jobs

(AURN) -- About 10,000 Black construction workers rallied in the Windy City to demand more construction jobs and contracts for Black residents. Many in the crowd said the lack of employment among Blacks has led to the recent surge of violence in the city. Since 2008, 530 teens have been killed in the city and 80 perecent of them were Black or Latino.
