(AURN) -- Child care specialist, author and motivational speaker Deborah Tillman is America's "Supernanny".  Tillman spends a week with each family to help parents around the nation discipline their children. She says that 85% of all Americans spank their kids so it’s not just a "Black thing". She tells the American Urban Radio Networks that spanking causes children to grow up to be adults with low self-esteem. She's strongly reccomends that parents refrain from using physical punishment on their child.
