(UPDATE) Bail Hearing Delayed for Alexander

(AURN) -- The Florida Times-Union is reporting that a bail hearing for Marissa Alexander has been delayed.  Alexander is the Florida woman who was given a mandatory 20-year prison sentence for firing a warning shot in the air during an altercation with her estranged husband.  

The hearing, originally set for Friday November 8th has now been delayed until Wednesday November 13th.  No official word on why the hearing was postponed.

(UPDATE)  11/14/13  7:26AM

(AURN) -- At a hearing on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, the judge in the case made no decsion on Marissa Alexander's bond.  Judge James Daniel, who presided over her original trial, instead set a new hearing date for Alexander of January 15th, saying he would decide on bond at another time.
