Billboard: Outkast Reunion Likely in 2014

(AURN) -- Billboard reports that “multiple sources” have confirmed OutKast member Big Boi and Andre 3000 are in talks to perform at next year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. Billboard’s sources think the pair will kick off their reunion in Indio next April, and continue performing together at festivals through the summer.

Over the years, Coachella seems to be a breeding ground for reunions, as the Pixies reunited in 2004, Rage Against the Machine made a comeback appearance in 2007 and Pavement played in 2010. Coachella will return to Indio, CA for two weekends once again this year, from April 11-13 and 18-20. Outkast's last project was  2006's Idlewild, which also served as the soundtrack to the film of the same name.

“As of now, there are no plans for another OutKast album,” André 3000 told GQ last year. Big Boi, on the other hand, told LA’s Power 106 in January that he and André were “discussing some things” for the anniversary of the duo’s debut album, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik.

Big Boi talks his latest album and his alleged beef with Andre 300.
