Colorado Police Thwart School Shooting

(AURN) -- Trinidad, Colorado Police Chief Charles Glorioso said a tip on Thursday that two teenagers planned to carry out the attack at Trinidad High School. “I would like to commend our school resource officer for following up with every lead in this case,” said Chief Glorioso. “His thorough investigation uncovered the threats and put a halt to any plan made by these students.”

Reports suggest the boys ages 15 and 16, idolized the Aurora Theater and Columbine High School shooters and wanted to carry out a similar attack.
