WASHINGTON (AURN) -- President Barack Obama is in efforts of strengthening the lives of African-American men of color with the "My Brother's Keeper" program. The event that was scheduled for February 13th was postponed due to inclement weather in Washington.

From a previous White House press release: "President Obama will host an event at the White House to unveil his new 'My Brother’s Keeper' initiative, taking action in partnership with foundations, businesses, and others to make sure that every young man of color who is willing to work hard and lift himself up has an opportunity to get ahead and reach his full potential".
