(AURN) -- Today (2/26/14) marks a somber two-years since the death of Florida teen Trayvon Martin.   Martin was gunned down and killed by George Zimmerman -- a then neighborhood watch volunteer at a gated community in Sanford, Florida.

Meantime it's also been a year in which nothing has been done to change the 'stand your ground' law partly responsible for Trayvon's death.    A number of events are planned around the country today to mark Trayvon's death and renew the call for action on 'stand your ground'.

AURN's  Correspondent Bruce Williams talked with Fulton about the foundation set up in her son's name and another highly watched Florida 'stand your ground' case.
