[VIDEO] Curtis Granderson: New York, New York

(AURN) -- After spending the first six years of his career with the Detroit Tigers where he helped lead them to the 2006 World Series, Curtis Granderson spent the past four seasons as member of the New York Yankees.

He has established himself as one of the game’s outstanding all around players. The left handed power broker and three time All Star stroked 84 home runs and totaled 225 RBIs for the Bronx Bombers from 2011 through 2012.

A series of injuries limited him to just 61 games last season. Over the off season Granderson inked a four-year sixty million dollar contract with the New York Mets. He is expected to play right field and bat cleanup behind third baseman and team captain David Wright. The Mets finished a distant third in the National League East last season.
