(AURN) -- As communities across the country see and feel the impacts of climate change, the black community has proven to be especially vulnerable, due to existing issues like higher asthma rates and the likelihood of living in the path of an extreme weather event.

Over the next five weeks, the Hip Hop Caucus is taking on the climate with it's "Act on Climate Campus Tour", highlighting the disproportionate impacts and costs of climate change, and calling for action.
