Sanford Police Chief Resignation
Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee was fired by city officials on June 20, 2012.
Sanford, Fl. City Manager Norton Bonaparte announced yesterday that Chief Bill Lee would be released as the city's chief of police.
(AURN) -- Although the city of Sanford, Fl. declined to accept Police Chief Bill Lee's resignation in March 2012, its May now and new developments have prompted city officials to change their mind. City Manager, Norton Bonaparte has fired the chief saying the city no longer has confidence in his ability to do his job. Also, 911 tapes made by Tracy Martin, Trayvon's father, are released.
