Senate Dems Blocked on Contraception Bill

(AURN) -- Observers say the bill was doomed from the start, but Senate Democrats pressed forward with legislation -- dubbed by proponents as the "Not My Boss' Business Act" -- aimed at reversing the controversial Supreme Court decision on contracption.  The rulling allows companies with religious objections to opt out of covering the benefit through company health insurance policies.

Wednesday's Senate vote on the matter is seen as the latest example of Democrats' win-by-losing strategy. It forces Republicans to vote on sensitive matters that might rile women this fall. AURN's Kim Lampkins has more ...
