(AURN) -- Troubling statistics suggest that obesity is quickly becoming a major killer in the United States. According to the Office of Minority Health, African American women have the highest rates of being overweight or obese compared to other groups across the country. Childhood obesity continues to be a topic of concern and schools may begin to educate youth on how to avoid becoming overweight.
