Indianapolis, IN (AURN) -- The New York Giants have become one of only two teams (Green Bay Packers) since the NFL merger to have four Super Bowl victories to their credit. Only three teams have more: Dallas Cowboys (5), San Francisco 49ers (5) and Pittsburgh Steelers (6).
Sunday's win over the favored New England Patriots gave Giants quarterback Eli Manning-not only his second ring-but he is now a two-time Super Bowl MVP. The game was a rematch of Super Bowl XLII (42) in Arizona where the Giants came away victorious 17 - 14 over the Pats, who went undefeated the entire season and lost in the championship.
